Abstract
Digitization of procurement transforms the work of enterprises, allowing organizations to overcome unpredictability in the supply chain as well as regulatory uncertainty. This paper gives a detailed discussion on how SAP Ariba digitizes the source-to-pay (S2P) lifecycle by discussing its cloud-based architecture, its auto-features and supplier collaboration functionality. Using elaborate case materials, performance metrics and architecture understanding, we exhibit how SAP Ariba benefits procurement resilience, lower cost, and advanced decision-making. According to our results, the automation rates reach up to 90 per cent, cost decrease is 35 per cent, and the collaboration with suppliers increases greatly across the industries. The given study is an addition to the literature on digital procurement as it provides detailed coverage of the effect of SAP Ariba and implementation advice.
