Abstract

Cancer is among the leading causes of death globally, accounting for nearly 13% of all fatalities, with brain tumors being particularly lethal, especially among younger populations. Accurate modeling and prediction of brain tumor progression are critical in supporting clinical decision-making and improving patient outcomes. This study introduces the Tumor Growth Simulation Utility (TG–SU), a software tool designed to simulate the progression of brain tumors based on user-defined parameters. Built upon the Reaction Diffusion Equation (RDE), TG–SU allows users to define tumor characteristics, growth rates across different brain tissues, and temporal simulation parameters. The utility supports multiple reaction and diffusion models, offering customizable and realistic predictions of glioma tumor development. Through its intuitive interface and comprehensive reporting tools, TG–SU aims to aid researchers and medical professionals in visualizing tumor dynamics and assessing the efficacy of various treatment strategies.
