Incorporating a rich array of international, Indian, and terrorism-related case studies, we aim to provide an exhaustive analysis of the methods employed by forensic science investigators. This article highlights the protocols involved, advanced technologies used and some unique topics that are crucial for the deeper understanding of arson. The confluence of forensic odontology and arson has also been showcased by citing some case studies in this article. This article also seeks to contribute to the scholarly discourse on the evolving landscape of arson investigation.
